Sample preparation experts of Malvern Panalytical invite you to participate in a virtual training in English dedicated to the preparation of samples by fusion for XRF and ICP analysis. Throughout the two half-day training sessions, we will address the concept of fusion and the theory behind the development of fusion methods. The importance of the weighing step and the use and care of platinum ware will also be discussed. Q&A sessions, resolution of common problems in fusion as well as the study of some real cases will also be covered in detail. This training aims to provide individuals using or planning to use any kind of fusion instrument with basic knowledge and skills to be successful in preparing fused beads and ICP solutions. Topics covered • Basic and advanced fusion concepts for preparing beads and solutions • Correct use and care of platinum ware • Good practices to prepare unfaulty beads for XRF analysis and solutions for ICP & AA analysis
