Particle size and XRD Characterisation Workshop (Singapore)
How structural and particle size analysis can give you greater insights to your material’s performance
Fri 19 July, 9am - 4.45pm, Nanyang Technological University, Academic Building North (ABN) Level 1 Seminar Room
About The Event
Powders characterisation is fundamental to all research and product development. Whether you are working with metal powders, battery powders, pigments, food or even pharmaceuticals, being able to understand the way that your powders behave will help you to predict and formulate better products. Join this free workshop organised by NTU Singapore Center for 3D Printing, A*STAR, ASTM International and Malvern Panalytical to learn more about how to properly characterise powders. Our guest speakers will be discussing particle size distribution analysis using laser diffraction as well as structural and phase quantification using X-ray diffraction. Learn through case studies on how to apply the techniques, how to improve your data collection; whether by way of experimental design, tools to sample preparation and data analysis. This workshop serves to provide practical tips on powders study. Free lunch will be provided.
