About The Event
Sample preparation experts of Malvern Panalytical are pleased to invite you to participate in a two-day virtual course (3.5h/day) in English dedicated to the preparation of samples by fusion for XRF and ICP analysis. Throughout this course, we will cover the concept of fusion and will thoroughly examine the theory that underpins the development of fusion methods and programs. The importance of the weighing step on the analytical results, and the use and care of platinum ware will also be discussed. Q&A sessions, resolution of common problems in fusion as well as the study of some real cases will also be covered in detail. This training aims to provide individuals using or planning to use any kind of fusion instrument with basic knowledge and skills to be successful in preparing glass disks and ICP solutions.
