Frequently asked questions
How do I join the event?
Open the event page and log in using the email you registered with.
Go to the “Agenda” tab at the top of the event page. When the broadcast is live, click the “Join Now” button next to the session. This will be available 2 minutes before the start time of the event.
The link to the Agenda is sent by email 1 hour before the event.
Can I ask a question during the session?
Yes! Please use the chat channel “Ask the Speaker” to send us your questions about the topic. We will leave time at the end of the event for Q&A.
Will a recording be provided after the event?
Yes, if you register for the event then a recording link for the event will be sent to you by email after the event.
Which browser should I use?
We recommend using Google Chrome and Firefox to access our events. New Microsoft Edge is also supported. Please do not use Safari or Internet Explorer.
Which device should I use?
A desktop or laptop will give you the best viewing experience, but you can also join on your mobile browser (please do not use Safari).
If you are having issues viewing on a company network computer, a mobile connection may bypass security and VPNs.
Will security, VPN or firewalls cause any issues?
If you are having issues viewing the pages or event video, please make sure VPN is disconnected. Using a company or work network may mean security or firewalls can block some of the components.
What should I do if I can't see or hear anything on the event?
If you’re having issues hearing or seeing the event, your device speakers may be in use by another application. Please make sure tools such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meet (etc) are closed before you join.
Please make sure you have consented to cookies on the platform.
To eliminate cookies and cache, try opening the event in an incognito or private window in your browser. If this works, clearing the cookies and cache from your browser should resolve the issue.
Please make sure AdBlock is disabled. If you have any other extensions that block content (Ghostery, etc.), please disable them, too.
Please take a look at the security software in your system - firewalls or anti-virus software could be blocking the video. Please momentarily disable these and log in to the event to see if the issue continues.
Can I test my connection before the event?
Yes! You can test access to the events by using this link: https://smart.newrow.com/room/testPage/
What should I do if I haven’t received any confirmation emails?
You should receive a confirmation email after registering, and a reminder email just before the event. If you haven’t received the emails, please check your junk email and make sure you have whitelisted events@malvernpanalytical.com.
